Math Playground was created by a teacher, Colleen King. She created Math Playground in 2002 for students in her class who needed a fun way to practice math facts. Since then, Math Playground has grown to include a wide variety of math topics, from problem solving and mathematical art to real world math.
Johnnie's Math Page is meant to be a window onto the world of worthwhile math activities available for children on the web. A great number of websites offer math activities for children but too many are unengaging to children or, just as importantly, have too little math content.
